Our Story
Florida born and raised
We didn't just set up shop here — we grew up here. Amped Up Socials is a Treasure Coast original, built on a love for live music, great venues, and the people who fill them.
HOW IT STARTED
Amped Up Socials started the way most good things do — with a passion that refused to stay a hobby. What began as a one-man karaoke setup at a local bar in Stuart quickly grew into something bigger: a full-service entertainment company producing live music events, private parties, and corporate shows across the Treasure Coast.
We've spent years building relationships with the best local venues — from waterfront bars to Veteran Posts — and we know this community inside and out. Every show we produce is a reflection of that connection.
Today, Amped Up Socials runs weekly karaoke residencies, books live acts, and produces private and corporate events across the Treasure Coast and throughout South Florida. We're not a national chain. We're your neighbors — and we bring that personal touch to every single event.
High Energy
We don't do low-key. Every event we produce is designed to get people on their feet and keep them there.
Local Roots
We live and work on the Treasure Coast. We know the venues, the crowds, and what makes this community tick.
Pro Production
From sound and lighting to MC work and artist booking — we bring professional-grade production to every show.
Personal Touch
We're not a faceless agency. You'll work directly with us from first inquiry to final bow.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE SHOW
A small, tight-knit crew with decades of combined experience in live entertainment.
Michael Jaycocks
Founder & Lead Host/DJ
Stuart native, karaoke evangelist, and the voice behind hundreds of shows across the Treasure Coast. Michael originally started Heavy Duty Entertainment and is staying on with Amped Up Socials to host most of the weekly residencies himself.
Calloway michael
DJ & Entertainment HOST
Calloway handles everything on college campuses and special events in Daytona Beach. If your venue is looking for a fun, upbeat and energetic vibe, Calloway can handle it all. He also handles all of our special Daytona Beach events for Bike Week, Speed Weeks and all other festivals in that area.
Peter Barlotta

Pete's passion for music and karaoke runs as deep as his love for design. A gifted graphic artist, he brings the visual identity of Amped Up Socials to life — from event flyers to stage backdrops. Pete leads all our Car Show Events and plays a key role in keeping our customer attendance numbers high, combining creative marketing with an infectious enthusiasm for live entertainment.
ROOTED IN THE TREASURE COAST
We serve Stuart, Jensen Beach, Port Salerno, Hobe Sound, Palm City, and the surrounding communities. This is our home — and we're proud to be the entertainment company that calls it that.
